Fizz network latency

I've recently had disconnection issues, which thankfully was resolved by a tech visiting and replacing the coax from the pole to the box outside. Connection is super stable now. However, I'm noticing spikes in latency. I would expect 10-15ms ping response to Google, but lately latency has been anything between 20-60ms, avg around 25-30ms. So, I want to know if this is normal for Fizz, or should I be expecting lower latency numbers?

Hi,
I have around 21-25 ms, which is normal with Fizz in my experience. If you’re seeing 60 ms, it could be a sign of congestion in your neighborhood, or it might be due to very high upload usage, for example.1 -
Normal for câble with Fizz.

Hello @DavieDavieDave ,
Thanks for contacting us.
Verifying your modem in my tools, it is online, all the modem signals are within the limits and the modem provides a proper speed.
I suggest you to proceed with a restart of your modem and devices too, disconnect them from the network and then reconnect.
Please consult our FAQ too:https://fizz.ca/en/faq/my-wi-fi-network-not-working-its-slow-or-it-cuts-what-do-i-do
