    Hi @lkreglewsk
Probably you are on the fre...m coverage and using their network (in Ontario)
At the moment, they never announced the 5G for sure when they will announce it will a big news. Probably after July when the 3G will be shutdown

Videotron is deploying 5G. Fizz uses Videotron network. So yes Fizz supports 5G in some rural area for now.

As far as I know Fizz supports only LTE. If it’s 5G means it’s a good news😊

Did you test the speed? 5G speed should be much faster.

    Hello @lkreglewsk ,

Currently, Fizz is not supporting 5G mobile service. We are actively working towards establishing a 5G network; however, at this time, we are using our existing LTE-Advanced network for mobile service.

Please check your device's network settings to see what options are selected. You can go to your device's "Settings," then navigate to "Network & Internet" or "Mobile Networks," and select your preferred network mode. If available, choose LTE to ensure you're connected to the best available network.

At this moment, we do not have any official information regarding the rollout of a 5G network. The only update we can share is that 5G technology is rapidly expanding across Canada, with major telecommunications providers increasing coverage in various cities and planning to extend their networks in the coming years.

As soon as we have more concrete information, we will inform our community through our FAQ section and forum. Thank you for your understanding!

    Have a good one,
