How to ask for Internet Modem Signal test

Hello,
I recently moved to a new location, and i'm having intermittent internet issues. At first i thought it was my unifi router and access points, but i went straight into the modem and i continue to have packet drops when i ping -t outside my network (eg: google)

Hello Michael Di Loreto,
Thank you for letting us know about this.
I have made the necessary verifications in our tools, and I see there is no unavailability declared in your sector and your modem signals appear to be optimal.
In this situation I recommend installing the Fizz Wi-Fi application in order to perform a network scan. You will have to add your modem details, and you will be able to perform the scan from the Tools and support section. At the end, you will receive more details about your network and what might be causing issues.
You can find more information on this topic here: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-can-fizz-wi-fi-app-help-me
Also, if you cannot identify the issue using the Wi Fi application, I recommend contacting us from the support page so we can assist you properly. You can do that here: https://fizz.ca/en/support
Have a good one!

Hello, install the Fizz Wifi app to perform diagnostics.
Make sure the cable is properly connected to both ends and that it is not damaged.
Plug the Fizz modem directly into the power outlet.
Have Fizz check the signal. https://fizz.ca/en/support
