Attention: changing to recommended plan misleading/scam!

Be careful when selecting a new recommended plan as they don't consider the same bonuses.
I posted yesterday about my internet plan, which was prompted by this recommendation:
It seems that, for the same price, I would be getting higher speeds. However, the confirmation email and receipt, showed that this plan would in fact be 45$ instead of 39$ !!
I get a 6$ rebate on my internet from my bonuses so these offers are not at all the same! They applied the rebate on the recommended plan but not the current plan. A better comparison would be to consider the rebate for both (33$ vs 39$) or none (39$ vs 45$).
I don't know if it's a glitch but showing both these plans as 39$ seems incredibly misleading and I'm glad I caught it and cancelled the change before my next billing cycle.
Look closely at your receipt after changing your plan...

Yes, the new price already includes the rebate from your bonuses.

I agree, also is the rebate a permanent one or will it revert to $45 after some time

Marking both as the same price, I’m sure many unaware people fall for it thinking they’re getting a plan upgrade.0 -

I see exactly the same thing you do. It is very misleading, but surely more of a mistake than a scam. There were a lot of little changes on the site lately, looks like someone didn't do their job properly.
Thanks for pointing it out, it needs to be corrected fast.

Yes, probably a mistake in the code but very easy to pay more for it without realizing, hopefully it will be fixed soon.

This is a mistake. I've had this problem a few times before. When the switch to the new plan took effect, all the amounts were correct.
