Cellular signal booster

Hello,
There is a very poor cellular signal on my woodlot.
I bought a cellular signal booster from Amazon to be able to use my cell phone :
https://amazon.ca/-/fr/dp/B0CGLRPVQL?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
Now that the booster is installed and functionnal, I have 4/5 bars on my cell phone and I see that signal reception on the booster is "acceptable".
Even if I get a signal, I can't go on the Internet. Is there anything else I must do? Is it possible to use a booster with Fizz or do I have to ask Fizz to allow me to use a booster?
Please help.
Thanks!

Hi @François C. 42583
I’ve never used the booster. However, do you have LTE or just 3G signal?
If you move to a nearby area where the booster isn’t needed, do you get a good download speed?
I don’t think Fizz has anything against using a booster, but at the same time, they don’t really promote it either. If you are using less that your average usage in 3 consecutive months, you can consider using a Fizz Ext (disabling the automatic network operator)
Or try to contact the support to see if they have some other suggestions https://fizz.ca/en/support

Hello François C. 42583 ,
Rest assured we don`t have anything against signal boosters but as also the user elena code xzi4t stated, we don`t commercialize such devices.
At this point, you can use the booster that you bought as it won`t have give you any issues with our services - but it really depends on how well you are placed in the coverage zone and what the signal is related to the antennas.
If you have issues using the service in general, you could check the following tips : https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-can-i-do-if-mobile-network-coverage-is-weak-or-inaccessible and reach our customer service on chat for further investigations also.
Have a good one,
