Unable to close unanswered support chat

I reached out to support yesterday evening at 20:24, requested an agent, and received no respond. Today, when I access the chat and send messages, there's still no response. Can support reach out to me or just close the most recent chat? There's no option or button that allow me to close it or start a new one.
