911 fee in Ontario?

Hi, I live in Ottawa and noticed I get charged 0.52 on my monthly bill for 911 services. When I signed up for Fizz I was given a Quebec (873) number. Looking for someone to confirm if Fizz also charges the 911 fee for Ontario area code numbers?

    911 fee is charged by all service providers. it may or may not show up as a line on the invoice. as long as your total price matches what your plan rate is then you are good.

    Looks like the cost is baked into your plan, but is noted as a surcharge in Quebec

    911 fee is a surcharge in Quebec, just increased to $0.54 per month.

    I have Ontario number, no 911 charge.
