Can’t text or receive texts from people who are not using IMessage

Hello, I switched from Fido to Fizz. Everything is working well except the tai cannot text or receive text messages from people who are not using IMessage. Illimités Textos are included in my plan, I tried to discuss this three times with the tech department but I’m still having the same issue and it’s extremely frustrating.

    We're really sorry for the inconvenience.

    We will have to do a couple manipulations to see where the issue comes from, so please switch your phone to airplane mode for a couple moments, then switch it back to normal. After that, reinsert the Sim and restart the phone. Please try the services once these are done.

    Good morning @Kays

    A friend of mine had this issue when switching back from a data only eSIM to his Fizz sim.
    The solution was to have the friend start a new text message by manually typing in the phone number, complete with country code.
