Not in service to all landline callers. Horrific experience with fizz.

It’s been 2 months. 2 months! Anyone that calls my number from a landline is given the message that my number is out of service! What?!? I have no idea who is calling me and being told this because they can’t leave me a message or contact me in any way. I only found this out by fluke nearly 2 months ago when my car dealership tried to reach me and got the “number not in service” message but luckily had my email. I didn’t believe them. I drove to my dealership and had them call me on speaker while I stood at the service desk and couldn’t believe my ears. I then called a couple of random businesses and asked them to call me back and they couldn’t! I’ve missed doctors appointments, hospital appointments, business calls and god only know what else. I’ve contacted “support” (yes the quotes are on purpose) at least 10 times. I’ve contacted step 2 (resolve an issue) at least 3 times. I have 3 open tickets! What’s the point?!?! Everyone just keeps saying my technical issue is “complicated” and to just “be patient”. What?!? Be patient? I’ve been paying for a service for 2 months that is telling every landline number that calls that I don’t exist. What’s even worse is that I transferred my elderly mothers number to this gong show of a company at the same time. She has missed countless appointments at the hospital. What is this? How is this possible? I regret with all of my soul porting my 2 numbers from bell to fizz. Can ANYONE help me? At this point anything “customer support” tells me is just a bunch of bs. Isn’t 2 months without a working number patient enough. Good lord. Anyone else having issues? Not that you would know because NOBODY CAN REACH YOU TO LET YOU KNOW. Absolute gong show.

No one told me I was unreachable since switching to fizz, some areas have less coverage than other, but I can't say my experience is like what you describe.

Is it specifically landlines and not mobiles that can't get through to your number?

I've not had this happen to me that I know of. But if fizz is unable to fix it you should look into another provider as 2 month is more then patient enough if you ask me.

    Hello Alek71

We're really sorry for the inconvenience.

Following my verification, the last ticket was closed, so a new ticket with all the details has been opened. The new ticket number is #323079. You can view it and track its progress from your Fizz account -> My settings -> My tickets.

Rest assured as it was marked with the highest priority so that our technical team can provide us a solution faster. Once we have a response, a refund will be processed for the days when your service was affected. Sometimes delays occur due to the complexity of the issue or a higher number of requests than usual.

Once again, we are really sorry for the inconvenience. Your understanding and patience are highly appreciated!

For further details, please contact us directly : https://fizz.ca/en/support

Have a great rest of the night!
