High latency/ping

Hi @Thanh481
It can be a congestion in your home, or in your zone.
Are you using the WiFi? It can be a wifi problem too
There are several reasons why your connection may be slow or unstable. Here are some steps to check and improve the situation:
Test your wired connection, If you're using Wi-Fi, connect a device directly to the modem with an Ethernet cable to see if the issue persists. If the wired connection is stable, this could indicate a problem with your Wi-Fi signal.
Check for interference, verify if other devices or neighbouring networks are interfering with your signal. Try changing the Wi-Fi channel in your modem settings, especially if you're on the 2.4 GHz band.
Restart your modem, sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues. If that doesn’t work, consider performing a full reset to factory settings (make sure to back up your configurations first).
You can contact the support in order to have your line checked

A few years ago i felt i had the same problem and i thought the issue was with my Fizz Modem itself. was in touch with the IT Support team and even after getting a new modem the problem persisted.
So i decided to buy the Google Mesh Wifi pods and connected the first pod with a wire to my Fizz Modem. Now my work laptop connects to the Mesh Wifi instead of the Fizz Modem. Never had an issue since.
It even gives me better coverage around the house and even in my backyard.
All that to say, try getting your own Wifi Router instead of using the Wifi directly from the Modem. I find you have better control and stability. Same story with all providers by the way. it’s not a problem with Fizz per say.

Hello @Thanh481 ,
Sorry to hear about the issue.
I verified your modem`s signals and nothing appears to be out of order.
My suggestion would be to download the Fizz WiFi app , run a quick scan with it so you can check what`s happening as this might be just a WiFi related issue.
To download the app, follow this link :
To begin troubleshooting, take these steps:
Place yourself near to your modem.
Open the Fizz Wi-Fi app in Overview and press the three dots in the upper right corner to access the application menu.Select More
Select "Fizz support"
►Tap "Tools and support"Follow the instructions and grant all permissions until you reach the feature page, at which point you should click on Network Scan. Allow the 2-minute scan to complete (do not dismiss the program or try to see messages or notifications during this time).
Check what it has to say and if you still have issues, reach our customer service for further investigations : https://fizz.ca/en/support
Have a good one,
