Hello Leftty,
Upon verifying the status of your modem using our tools, I was able to notice that its signals are under the right parameters, meaning that the modem is receiving a good and steady internet connection.
I noticed you received some very good advice on how to resolve the situation.
You should change the position of the router more to the center of the house where all the devices can remain connected within good signal.
You might also try and use an extender to see if that would improve the signal in your kitchen.
More details can be found in this FAQ https://fizz.ca/en/faq/my-wi-fi-network-not-available-certain-areas-my-home-how-do-i-fix-it
I hope this will improve the situation with the signal.
Have a nice day.

Hi @Leftty
Sure an extender can work, I really prefer to use my own router and it is what I do, but for sure this option is more expensive

Is your modem share the same socket? Did you try to move the modem a bit

I dont recommend buying Wifi extenders. They are hard to configure and manage, most of the time they will reduce your bandwidth speed by half.
I strongly suggest to invest in a Mesh Wifi technology. I got the Google Mesh Wifi at home and it works like a charm. I know TPlink also makes a good one.

Are the microwaves and modem on the same plug/breaker? If yes try your modem on another circuit.
Is your microwave old? It can leak, in this case you should replace it...

Now is the perfect time to buy a Mesh Wifi after boxing day. i found this at staples at 100$ instead of 380$. I got it and really changed my wifi experience at home.
