For your phone Pixel 8A USA Vs International:
In the US, the Pixel 8a is available in 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB versions, while in Canada, options are usually limited to 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB.
American version is Wifi 7 and International no.
It's not always that simple but sometimes the exact model can give a clue, the pre-installed applications, the frequency bands. etc. You can also contact the manufacturer to ask with the serial number in which market it is or was intended.
You should know where you bought it. If it's a mobile distributor from Canada, then it's Canadian.
Check as said above, if you remove the Wifi, call a person and browse at the same time then forget the "no" because it works.

For what I found on the net it seems that you are wrong, in the US they have two models, they also have a model for Europe/Asia (except Japan) and one for Japan
G8HHN (US, Verizon only)
GKV4X (CA, US)
G6GPR (AT, AU, BE, CZ, DK, FR, DE, IE, IT, PL, PT, ES, SE, NL, NO, CH, UK, IN, SG, TW)
G576D (JP)
