    Hi @The_French_Man

If we are talking about the mobile and you ported the number the procedure automatically close the mobile provider.

If you are talking about residential internet this will not close the previous provider

If you ported the number and your number is working with Fizz contact the previous provider since it is their problem.

You can always contact the support, https://fizz.ca/en/support and click on the green bubble on the bottom right of the page in order to chat with them to find the right solution for you.

Depending on weather your plan was prepayed or post payed you may still get a last bill from your last provider.

Fizz is pre-payed so you pay before you use. At other providers like *** or **** is post payed you pay after you use.

    Hello The_French_Man,
    Thank you for your post.
After making the necessary verifications into our tools we noticed that you recently activated a mobile plan at fizz, with a random number.
The plan at the other provider is automatically cancelled only in the moment of making a request to transfer the number to Fizz, which is not your case.
    Here are more details: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activation-how-do-i-transfer-my-current-phone-number-to-fizz
Due to this, if you no longer wish to keep the mobile plan from the other provider, you can cancel it by reaching them. Fizz is not having any possibility to control this situation.
In case you are having a different account with an internet plan, the cancelling of your other provider needs as well to be requested from your side.
We are not cancelling from our side as is it possible to have multiple connections into your home.
    Your understanding is highly appreciated.
    Have a great day.
