With eSim - Does this mean Apple Watch Support?

I cannot help but dream about connecting my Apple Watch to cellular and leaving my phone behind. Does the introduction of eSims mean we will get Apple Watch support as well?

In theory yes, but the Apple watch is not in the compatible device yet https://fizz.ca/en/faq/install-and-activate-esim . But since I don't have the Apple Watch I don't know how you can scan the QR code, probably you have an app to do it from the phone.

If you try please let us know who was your experience
