Moto g power 2021 certified volte but not working in USA
Starting a new thread because my previous question was closed by support.
I have a Moto g power 2021 phone and trying to use it in the USA. Videotron, the parent company of fizz, certifies it.
But fizz is telling me that the phone will not work in the USA. Please assist.

Unfortunatly if its not certified by fizz calls wont work in the USA. There's nothing you can do beside changing your phone with a phone certified by fizz. Here's the certified phone list:

If fizz doesn't support, you cannot use it for calls in USA, when your phone makes or receives a call must pass to a Fizz's server, which will not allow it.
@Whizz probably you should explain it

per another provider's website, your phone is certified for Canada and MAYBE in the USA depending on the IEMI number.
Check out other providers web site to check compatibility and maybe they have a plan that works for you.

This further supports what @elena code xzi4t and others have been saying.
Certified by one child company does not mean that every child company of a parent company certifies it.
And in your case, at least with Freedom, it appears as tho not every phone of that make and model are supported and that it depends on the specific phone (determined by the IEMI number) whether or not the phone will work in the USA.cheers,
