My SIM card might not support VoLTE

I have a SIM card with the red lightning bolt. My phone doesn't support VoLTE, but my brother's phone does. He has a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G (which is on Fizz's certified list).

When I inserted my Fizz SIM card in his phone and made a call, it automatically switched from LTE to H+ (3G). After I ended the call it switched back to LTE. I checked the settings on his phone under Mobile Networks, and the VoLTE button is no longer there. I tried rebooting the phone too. When I put his SIM card back in the phone the VoLTE button appeared again. My brother is with a different wireless carrier.

Is it possible that my SIM card doesn't support VoLTE?

Again, it does have the red lightning bolt.
