I recently set up my home network but am having trouble connecting to my router. I suspect it might be an issue with the router’s IP address or configuration. My devices frequently lose connection, and I want to ensure everything is set up correctly. Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello Niamhrubi  ,

Sorry to hear about the issue.

I tried to check your Fizz account but it looks like you haven`t validated your e-mail so I had to create a ticket to address the issue.

You will be reached back on e-mail once we have any news on that matter.

Regarding the modem connection, as we can`t verify your account, I suggest running a quick network scan,

The first step in resolving any Wi-Fi-related difficulties is to perform a network diagnostic at home. If you have not yet finished the 2-minute network scan, please proceed as follows:
To begin troubleshooting, take these steps:
Place yourself near to your modem.
Open the Fizz Wi-Fi app in Overview and press the three dots in the upper right corner to access the application menu.

    Select More
    Select "Fizz support"
    ►Tap "Tools and support"

Follow the instructions and grant all permissions until you reach the feature page, at which point you should click on Network Scan. Allow the 2-minute scan to complete (do not dismiss the program or try to see messages or notifications during this time).

Check what the app has to say and reach our customer service also for further investigations : https://fizz.ca/en/support
Here you can get the app also : https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-are-wi-fi-technologies-used-fizz

    Thank you for your understanding.
    Have a good one,
    Raul, Fizz Team
