Hi,

I have a laptop always connected to the network, I want to make sure its local ip address e.g. 192.168.0.22 stays the same.

How to set this up in the router?

Thanks

Open a windows cmd and type in : ncpa.cpl to get network connections

    T

Scroll down until you get Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4 )

Click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4 ) and then

    • Select "Use the following IP address :
    • In IP address enter : 192.168.0.22
    • Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
    • Default gateway : 192.168.0.1
    • Select Use the following DNS server addresses : for Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8 ; for Alternate DNS Server 8.8.4.4

and then click on <OK> button to safe your configuration
