Chinese phone with VOLTE

Your Chinese phones should still work in the USA, even if they are not listed on FIZZ’s approved VoLTE phones list. The key factors are whether your phones support the network bands used by US carriers and if they are compatible with VoLTE technology.
Since your phones are currently working with another low-cost US provider, it’s a good sign that they support the necessary bands and VoLTE.
However, it’s always a good idea to double-check the specific network bands your phones support and compare them with the bands used by the carrier you plan to use in the USA

hi @grrlguide
They right answer is that the phone cannot be used in Canada/USA when you are using a Fizz sim card

According to the guide, any phone should work if they were manufactured within the last five years.
However, the only way to be 100% sure is to try it. This won't be an ideal solution as you have to physically be at the border to try and attempt to connect to a U.S cell tower.
If you're close to the border or want to make a road trip there you can try and see if you can get reception from a U.S cell tower and see if you can connect.
