Hi, everyone.

When I ordered my service, the system allowed me to choose Sefl-Installation, so I took the option. When the modem arrived at the house the person who delivered it to me just left the modem and walked away. When I looked at the instructions it said to connect the modem to a coaxial socket, I looked all over the house and can't find anything to connect it to. I am new to Montreal, so I didn't know what was required. I write to support and they told me that they are going to charge me the 60 dollars, when the fact that there is no cable is not my fault.

Can someone please help me. Thank you.

    Hello AndreaTP  ,

Sorry to hear about the issue.

The visit is free of charge, unless the issue could have been resolved easily by you ( let`s say you didn`t see the outlet or wire that`s under a cabinet or something similar ) , then yes the visit will be chargeable.

However if there are no outlets or cables in your home, the visit will be free of charge, so there`s nothing to worry about.

Just be sure that you search your home thoroughly as here you can find more details on how to prepare for the visit also : https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-manage-appointment-technician-visit-my-service-address as I saw that an appointment should be set soon.

    Have a good one,
