unable to get the gift of data

If you have a data plan (not the free one) you must be able to receive data.
Try today it can also be a temporary problem, otherwise you need to wait the resolution of the ticket

did they add a space after your referral code? you can also gift data using i know the person and use your phone number instead of the referral code to see if it works.

Thank you for informing us about this.
I have verified and our technical team reached back to us informing that the person you are trying to gift data to, has a plan change order in progress that is currently preventing him to receive any gifted data.
As soon as the plan change will be completed on his account, you will be able to gift him data by going to your account under My plan>Gift>Start gifting and following the on-screen steps.

got this answer. Even though the current plan and existing plan have data, a plan change pending does not let user get the gift of data which is not where mentioned so users be ware
I am reaching out to you in regard with the ticket 302797.
Our technical department informed us that the customer to which you are trying to gift data cannot receive it due the fact that the plan entered the freezing period and has a plan change submitted. This two factors are not allowing the data gifting until the payment cycle will renew and the changes will be effective.0 -
