Hi, I have received my SIM card, purchased a monthly plan from you, and planned to transfer my former phone number. However I received an email from you saying that the IMEI I provided was not correct, and my activation has been in pending status for 2 days.

I wonder if you could just give me a new number to this SIM card and activate my plan, because it is very unconvenient to live without contact number.

when you activate you can select new number or port your old one. if you are porting, it is better to use the account number of your old provider instead of imei to do the transfer. if your account hasn't been activated, you wont be charged. if you want a new number, you can cancel your plan and reuse the sim card to do a new activation.

Hello. Maybe your IMEI is too long? According to the guide, you should use the first 15 digits only:

If the IMEI number is more than 15 digits long, only use the first 15.

    Hello Vivienne,
    Thank you for reaching out.

As wenhan mentioned, you can use the account number from your old provider to complete the transfer, which can be found on your latest bill. Here is an FAQ with how the account numbers are looking based on your old provider.

To retry the transfer, you need to go to My Plans and click on the Check Notifications button next to your mobile plan. A new page should be loading, and if you scroll down, you should see the resubmit button.

IF you click the resubmit button, you will be able to either retry the transfer, with the Transfer a number to Fizz feature or use the other two features to net a new number.

Feel free to contact us privately using this FAQ if you need further assistance.
    Have a good one!
