without call figure, can voicemail still work？

i hv a spare phone number would like to transfer to fizz only to keep the number, if i choose no data, no text, no calling, only voicemail, can ppl leave voicemail？and how can i read the voicemail？thx.

    people should be able to leave you voicemails. you would need to add funds to a fizz wallet and do pay as you go minutes to call the voice mail. it might be much cheaper to transfer to a voip if you are only planning to keep the number

    Another option for you is to set up your phone to handle the call forwarding and then you would only have one voice mail to concern yourself with as the calls from the spare phone would directly to your main phone which would then handle the voice e mail.

    I would consider transferring the number to a cheap VoIP service. Unfortunately we can't name them here but just Google it and you will find services.

    I kindly wish to inform you that, in order for you to be able to receive voicemails, you need to have minutes included in the plan as well as the voicemail option.

    In this case, you will still need to have extra services for your plan in order to be able to access it ( like funds in the Wallet or Add on).
