If I cancel my internet on September 1, do I have internet access on September 1 or does it stop at Sept. 1 12:00am?

    Hi @graemeb

Is the day when will be cancelled, it should at 00:00 (12:00am) it is automatic

    Don’t forget your modem

You have 15 days following the date you unsubscribe to return your Fizz Wi-Fi modem (and its power cable) to us. Failure to do so means you will be automatically charged the amount of $225, plus applicable taxes. If you are charged this amount but do end up sending us back the modem, then no worries, you will be automatically refunded.

    Hello @graemeb ,
We are sorry to hear about your decision to cancel the home internet plan from the Fizz account.

In case you are going in vacation, you can simply put the internet plan on pause for the period as currently we are offering this possibility.
You can do that directly from your Fizz account by accessing My plans- Manage plan- Pause my plan.
The price per pause is 10$+ taxes.
Here are more details regarding the subject: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-can-i-put-my-plan-pause
Regarding your question, as you were already answered, the plan will be automatically cancelled at the beginning of the date selected by you in the moment of making your request.
This means that, on September 1st, your plan will stop working therefore if you wish to use the services in that day, you can select the next one as "deactivation" date.

In case you are having further questions, you can contact our customer service agents and they will gladly assist you.
For that, you can use this link: https://fizz.ca/en/support
    Your understanding is highly appreciated.
    Have a great day.
