Plan change did not take effect

just seeing if anyone can help or if this has happened to others:
I submitted a plan change for my home internet to increase the speed a few weeks ago and it said that it would come into effect on the July 22nd confirmed in an email. I checked yesterday and there was no speed increase and my account still said the old speed.
I contacted someone over the chat bubble and they said to see why it was not changed and they said that "the customer cancelled the request". Of course I didn't cancel the request and I have no email or documentation saying that I cancelled it. I asked for a time or date that it was cancelled and he could not provide it.
Now I've had to put in a new plan change request but I have to wait another month to have my speed increased. Is there anything I can do to have this rectified?

Hello wolfpeterson
Following my verification, the plan change order that was supposed to take effect on 22nd of July has been cancelled, then a new order has been processed which will take place on the 22nd of August.
