My wifi modem is not connected to the signal for some reason even after trying to install it into various ports. When the modem came, the technician did not even come in. Now I am stuck paying for a modem without any signal and no help. Please help!

    Hi @Jade T. #8503

Did you connect the coxial cable?

Did you wait 15 minutes before try to connecting to the modem?

•Try a factory reset the modem

Using a small, sharp object, press the modem’s reset button for 10 seconds.

Once your modem has restarted, follow the same instructions you used when you initially installed it.

wait 15 minutes and then redo the installation process by following the details found here :

Reminder: The default username (Default Wi-Fi network) and password (Default key) for your Wi-Fi network are written on a sticker on the back of your Wi-Fi modem.

You can always contact the support, https://fizz.ca/en/support , and click on the green bubble on the bottom right of the page in order to chat with them to find the right solution for you.

Yes I have done all of that and nothing has changed unfortunately. It's been a week that we have been trying to connect it to different ports and it signals the three same buttons in green (1st button, 2nd button flashing (download) and the 2.4G)

You must have the upload and download on, if one of this is off, this means that you have a problem with the signal coming from the coaxial cable. In this case, check if you have other coaxial cable in the house (sometime you have multiple one, and only one is working) if doesn't work, Fizz must send you a tech to try the cable inside your house.
