Is it possible to buy a phone with a Québec address and use it in Ontario

Hello, I wanted to buy a new phone and saw you can't have them delivered in Ontario. Could I buy and have it delivered in Québec, then pick it up and use it in Ontario where I'm based, or is that not allowed?

No. When you order your phone, the billing address associated with your payment method will be the one used for shipping. The package will be addressed to you. You’ll have to show a valid photo ID with your name and address, and sign upon delivery.4

I don't see why you can't use it in Ontario though after you receive it in Quebec. Not delivered to Ontario though.

Theoretically you can use the phone because it is not locked but you can not order from an different address.

As long as you have a payment method that has the same address as the one from Quebec, there won't be any issues. Also, the phone can be used anywhere, as since 2017 all the phones coming from a Canadian provider are unlocked. 💚
