Scamming by Fizz wallet! QC to Ontario (roaming in data but not in call/message)

Hello everyone,

Recently I learned that If you are in Quebec plan only if you visit Niagra Falls/Ontario, they will stop you from making/receiving calls even if you have money in your Fizz wallet, but they will charge you for data even if it turns one unintentionally!!

That is wrong, the wallet it can be used for that https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-is-my-wallet-and-how-do-i-use-it

If you have data on, and you are using it, they will charge you, this is what the wallet is supposed to be used for.

Did you contact the support?

You can always contact the support, https://fizz.ca/en/support , and click on the green bubble on the bottom right of the page in order to chat with them to find the right solution for you.

As elena code xzi4t  already stated, indeed there will be a charge of the wallet if data is used.
