Is a known problem, try to reboot the phone
The name of the network indicated on your phone will not initially say Fizz. Instead, you will see Fizz EXT. We are aware of this situation and are working to address it. Rest assured, your phone is not roaming, and you will not incur any charges. Simply restart your phone 72 hours (that’s 3 days) following the activation of your SIM card, and all will be in order.
You can also try to force to join the Fizz network, but remember to set the network selection in automatic after couples of minutes

it takes a few weeks for it to switch. for me also in toronto it was about 2 weeks after I joined I got fizz network when I rebooted my phone. no need to worry about it

It took my phone 6 days to switch over from EXT to Fizz.
Most users report about a week to a month or two until their switch
New activation on a new phone number with fizz was already on the native network.
It's not a big deal but you can always reach out to support for help if it's been 1-2 months.
