Trouble with Internet via WIfi with phone
I have a laptop and tablet that both connect and have no problem to get to the internet over the WIFI. This only started about a week ago. I 1st tough I had trouble with my phone so I did a factory reset on it and updated it etc. But the problem persisted. Since my phone has no problem to connect to other saved network both private and public. I think the problem is with the modem. Turning the modem off and rebooting will solve the problem so far. But it is not viable solution since I'm not the only one using the modem. I have also found that changing the channel for the 2.4 GB band will make my phone connect instantly. My guess is that the modem reach IP allocation and my phone get lock out when I come back, changing the channel release the IP allocation.
Does any one know of a few trick I could try ? Logging every day to change the channel just for 1 device is kinda going to get frustrating.

It seems more a problem with interferences
Can you try to disable the band steering
Your

technology. When this function is disabled, the Wi-Fi modem will display
two (2) frequency bands, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.The modification of this option is possible thanks to the mobile application Fizz Wi-Fi:
Choose: ''My Wi-Fi''
Select your Wi-Fi network
Select: ''Advanced Settings''
Band Steering ''On/Off''
The Fizz Wi-Fi app is available for free at various online stores (Apple Store and Google Play Store).
This change can also be applied through the Wi-Fi modem user interface:
1. Log in at: 192.168.0.1 from the web browser of any device.
2. Log in using the following information:
Username: cusadmin
Password: xxxxxxxx (Password you chose during initial setup)
3. Go to the next section to apply changes:
Wireless ->Advanced -> 2.4 Ghz or 5Ghz -> Band Steering (Disable)

We are sorry to hear about the situation encountered with your Wi-fi.Given the fact that you are encountering issues only with the phone, please try as well to turn Airplane mode On/ Off in order to see if it will connect to network afterwards.
It will help as well to restart it in order to allow it to reauthenticate to network and also to restore connections.
