Converting Fiber to cable and pluging it into the fizz modem
Just wondering, I just saw a post where someone says the modem connects only to cable.
I'm already with fizz and am moving to a new appartment. My next location only has an optic fiber cable. I was wondering if by converting the fiber to a cable rg6 and pluging it into the modem, the signal would work. Or the signal from the electrical line has to come from the cable all the way to the modem ? I'm sorry if i'm asking a question already asked, I only saw partial answers to what I think I'm asking.
Have a great day !

Even if there were a way to convert fiber to cable, this would be so that you can get Fizz as your ISP? It will not work — the Fizz network is only over cable not fiber.

Hi @Mcfriend
You need to follow the moving procedure https://fizz.ca/en/faq/im-moving-how-do-i-change-my-address-my-home-internet-service, and if your new location as the possibility to have a coaxial cable, Fizz will send the tech in order to install one.
You cannot have any adapter from fibe to coaxiale
