You can transfer a phone number from a mobile operator which is in the subscription area https://fizz.ca/en/faq/subscription-area-and-coverage-area and this is the guide https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activation-how-do-i-transfer-my-current-phone-number-to-fizz
Remember to use the referral code at the activation at your first plan in one account, in order to get 25$ credit at your second payment. You can pick mine is on my name after code or pick one from here

Sorry to hear about the issue
Please check if your phone comes from a zone in which your number can be transferable ( subscription zone ) and that the number is still active also.
There are multiple zones, depending on the region from where you are coming from.
Generally speaking this FAQ contains more details also : but you have to select the region from where you are transferring on the top of the FAQ ( Quebec, BC , Manitoba, Ontario , Alberta ).
