Porting a number from another province

I have seen other exchanges on that topic, but I just want to be sure before making the move to Fizz...

I currently reside in Ontario with a cellular number from Quebec. My current cellular provider is also from Quebec (Vidéotron) with a billing address in Ontario. Can I port my Quebec phone number from Videotron to Fizz (while maintaining address and usage in Ontario) without any issue?

A confirmation that it would be feasible or not would be appreciated.

Thank you.

    Hi @fallingukemi

Yes you can, the important thing that your address is in Ontario in order to be able to get the Ontario price

Don't forget to use a referral code, if you don't have one you can use mine is after code in my name or pick one from here

Yes, you can do that to your Ontario address and take advantage on the offers of Fizz for Ontario.

    Hello fallingukemi,
Thank you for the interest in the Fizz mobile services.
As long as the number is still active at your current provider, you should be able to transfer it to Fizz without any issues.
You can verify here if your home address is under the subscription area:  https://fizz.ca/en/coverage?region=ON in order to see if you can subscribe without any issues.

After you will have the SIM card from Fizz, you can access the Activation menu for starting the process.
There, select the option " Transfer a number to Fizz" in order to add the necessary details.

    Have a wonderful day.
