Change new phone number via Fizz but unable to use iMessage & Facetime
Hi there, yesterday I successfully change my new phone number via Fizz website, and everything was working fine in my iPhone 13 except for iMessage and Facetime. It would be greatly appreciated if you could please help me to fix it. Thanks!

this was the error that it gave me: “ This Phone Number Cannot Be Used by iMessage and FaceTime
You must have a SIM associated with an Apple device for +1 (437) xxx xxxx to be used for iMessage and FaceTime.” and I only change phone number online, I didnt replace my old sim card at all. Thanks!

Cna you check if you have the right number here Go to Settings > Phone > My Number

yes it was the new number showing up

I found this
- Go to Settings > Messages>Turn off iMessage.
- Go to General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
- Once the iPhone is open.
- Go to Settings > Messages>Turn ON iMessage.
- This will recognize the new sim and have it verified.

for i message you have to activate them in your settings, as for FaceTime i am not sure
