Gift Button is deactivated?

I tried to send someone a data gift and the link button is slightly faded and doesn't click through. Could there be a reason for that>

    If he does not have a plan with data included you can not send him.

    It could be also in an area with poor internet connection.

    If the data is not from you initial plan you can not gift it.(roll over data can not be gifted)

    Thank you for the question.
    I have verified the account and I noticed that your plan does not include mobile data in it.
    To be able to send/receive data you will need to have data in your plan, you cannot send rollover data or gifted data.
