local 311 service winnipeg

when trying to access local 311 service i get cannot connect message. Anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix in network settings that would correct this?

    I am in Montreal I believe that the problem is only in Winnipeg, @Whizz probably you should look on this

    I think in Fizz FAQ it says for beta period they havent implemented services for 311 etc. Beta just ended less a month ago so it might not be fully implemented still. Just have to wait.

    N11 numbers, or telephone short codes, do not work everywhere.

    While 911 DOES work, other telephone short codes such as 211, 311, 411, 511, 711 and 811 do not. Members are invited to look up and dial the long version until then.

    tried using the 1-877 number and it tries to connect to a number in the U.S.

    I have gotten toll free number to display as US for the caller id before. but it should still connect to where you need it to.
