hi,

For the past two weeks the WiFi has been working on and off. The lights from the modem are light correctly but the videos take hours if they ever do load. I did some research on the forum and noticed that it was advised to unplug and then then replug the modem. It does work sometimes but then minutes later it does not work again.

I use internet for work and to study. Can someone help me fix this permanently?

    Hi @Lau150204

The problem can be the wifi signal

Did you try to reboot the modem?

Have you the possibility to try the connection with an Ethernet cable?

If with the ethernet cable you have a poor speed, only the support can help you https://fizz.ca/en/support

If with the ethernet cable you have a good speed we can look together with some configuration

    Hello Lau150204,

I am sorry for the situation encountered.

Following my verification performed on the modem, the signals are a bit out of specs, there are some package losses encountered and there is no maintenance on the network grid on your area.

What I can advice you is to make sure that the outlet and the coaxial cable are not damaged in any way and to reboot the modem ( unplug it from the power outlet and plug it back in ).

If the issue persist, please reach us back via our online chat:https://fizz.ca/en/faq/my-internet-service-not-working-what-do-i-do?.

    Thank you for your understanding.
