Using a GL-E750 in the US and Canada

I'm looking at installing a Fizz sim in my Portable 4G LTE Travel router for data only.

I'm looking at purchasing data and topping it up as I need it. Is there anything precluding me from doing so? What will the coverage by like in the US as I don't see any coverage maps for down south? I'm green in my location in Ontario so I don't see it being a problem for that.

It should work and of you select a Canada-USA plan you should be set. I would wait for someone that did the same to confirm tho

    Hi @Jason Roach

When in USA you will use the Verizon/ATT/T-Mobile partner network, therefore, the coverage is what you have with one of that.

    Couple of things to know

    Hello @Jason Roach ,

So, while the service might work, I can`t guarantee 100% that it will function - since the Sim card was mostly designed for phones especially.

While you might use it for Data only , there is also a chance that the Sim card won`t be fully compatible with the portable modem so I suggest checking on the device`s forums to confirm if anyone else used our Sim cards for such situations.

I am stating this , as roaming should be enabled for the Sim card from the mobile device to work in roaming zones, but I am not certain you`ll be able to do that from the portable router.
Our FAQ also states that the Fizz Sim card is mostly for phones also : https://fizz.ca/en/faq/compatible-devices

    Thank you for your understanding.
    Have a good one,
