When to move sim card

Okay, so I activate the sim card, request to transfer the number, then reply YES to the authorization. At that point I remove the sim from the current provider and install the sim card for Fizz? And then I wait for the text to say it's all good?

Yes, that's correct. :D You need to follow this link : fizz.ca/activation , choose 'Transfer number to Fizz" and then follow the on-screen instructions.

You will be required to enter either your IMEI (you can find it by dialing *#06# on your phone) or the account number from your current provider. Please note that the plan with the current provider has to be active in order for your phone number to be transferred.

Once you receive the confirmation text, you have 90 minutes to reply to it and then just insert your Fizz Sim in the phone.
