Issues Transferring from ESIM to fizz SIM

I'm currently on my current provider with an ESIM, ordered the fizz SIM card and planning to transfer. It appeared to have 2 IMEI numbers on my phone (One is IMEI for ESIM, which is my current Plan, the other IMEI called IMEI2 says "Available SIM"). Which IMEI number should I use when activating? Thanks!

    No reason to panic. Just follow the presentation video on YouTube. I can't sent you the link since it is not allowed on forum.

    Hi @szh

    For a physical SIM card I think your need the primary IMEI

    @Whizz can you confirm?

    Hello szh,
    Thank you for reaching out.

    For a transfer to be possible, you usually need to know what IMEI was registered with your provider. In most cases it's the phone's IMEI, however, it seems like the eSIM has an IMEI as well. You should ask your current provider which one is registered with them.

    You also have the option of using the account number for the transfer, which can usually be found on your latest bill, or by contacting your current provider.

    Since I happen to not have heard about transfers from eSIM and normal SIM between providers, I will escalate the situation to our dedicated team, to see if we find some more information. You can also find some information about transferring to Fizz on this FAQ https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activation-how-do-i-transfer-my-current-phone-number-to-fizz.

    In the meantime, if you need assistance, feel free to contact our customer service representatives in private.
    Have a good one!
