Can't send text via Samsung s24 ultra
Hi I can't send text on my samsung s24 ultra.
I don't have sms on my account buy I do have money on my wallet.
It worked before with the same configuration but on a pixel 7
I changed this: setting the SMSC of Videotron (+15144240053) instead of Fizz (+14385200092)?
Ensure that your phone is correctly configured for the Short Message Service Center (SMSC).
The number configured in your phone should be: +1-438-520-0092.
Verification on Android: Applications → Messaging icon → Context Menu (the three dots at the top of the screen) → Settings → More Settings → Text Messages
I put the Videotron one and worked but why? What is the difference with the Videotron and Fizz one?

Leave it with the videotron SMSC it is the one suggested from the guide too
It seems that the Fizz SMSC doesn't work anymore

Maybe you don’t have the good plan! Did you verify?

This sorcery happened to 3 Samsung phones of my family. Multiple tickets opened with Fizz to no avail. Eventually they decided to update their FAQ with Videotron's SMSC instead of finding the issue.

Sorry to hear about the issue but glad to hear that the situation was remedied.
From what I verified, the Fizz SMSC number was modified to the one listed on our website 1-514-424-0053 ( the one you now added to your phone`s settings).
We were not informed specifically why that happened as it was a upper management decision.
