    Hi @Jordancoco113

t can take 2 to 10 days, depending on the situation. Are you using a coaxial cable with Altima? If so, the modem will be shipped to you, which should take 3-4 days. If you don't have a coaxial cable installed, a technician is required to install it. Therefore, you'll need to schedule an appointment, and the availability may vary between 2 to 10 days.

When you decide, consider using a referral code to receive $25 on your second payment. If you don't have one, you can use mine, which is after my name (jess_), or you can choose one from here. https://forum.fizz.ca/en/discussion/2198337/this-is-the-place-for-your-referral-codes-here-and-only-here

When I switched Fizz was one of the quickest processes I've tried.

    Hello @Jordancoco113,

    Thank you for your question.

It depends on the situation, however, a quick review of this variation is the following:

    1. You can have the modem delivered to your location if the coaxial outlet is eligible, therefore, you will choose the "Auto-installation" option and the modem will be delivered to your location within  2 to 5 working days. This means that once you get the modem (if the coaxial outlet is eligible and working), after these 2-5 days, you will have the modem installed and running.
    2. This second case is dedicated to the "Auto-installation" process when the coaxial outlet is categorized in our system as eligible, however, the coaxial outlet is not working properly, a case in which, we must set an appointment for you. After the 2-5 days in which you wait for the modem delivery (let's say you get the modem on 29/01/2024), you must activate the modem and we can place a technician appointment for 30/01/2024 or 31/01/2024 depending on the technician's availabilities and your availabilities (this appointment is free).
    3. The 3rd situation is when your coaxial outlet is not categorized as eligible in our system. In this specific case, the system requires you to choose the "Self-installation" option which means that a technician will come to your place, he will deliver the modem, and will also make sure that the coaxial outlet works so you can install the modem yourself. For this option, you must choose a date on which the technician is available and you are available so that the installation can be done (this depends on the date you choose).

I hope you have a pleasant day!
