Hi @fizzyYEG
the beta is supposed to be for 6 month, they added these new areas. It can be at the end of the beta, but I believe that it will be in the following months, since it will be part of the beta selling the phone. Probably they still need to make agreements for the delivery or similar.
Welcome!

It sounds like you're in a bit of a tricky situation with Fizz, especially since you've switched during their beta phase and are now facing limitations in purchasing a phone. Here's some advice based on my experience and understanding as a fellow Fizz customer:
- Beta Phase Limitations: During the beta phase, some services or features might not be fully available. This could include the ability to purchase phones directly through Fizz. It's not uncommon for service providers to have such limitations while they're testing and refining their services.
- Timing for Full Service Availability: As for when you'll be able to buy phones through Fizz, that largely depends on how long their beta phase lasts and when they decide to roll out full services. This information is typically communicated by the service provider through official channels like their website or customer emails.
- Consider Your Needs: If you need a phone immediately and Fizz can't provide one, you might need to look elsewhere. Depending on your requirements and budget, buying a cost-effective phone to use in the interim could be a good solution.
- Buying from Another Source: You could consider purchasing a phone from a third-party retailer or online store. Just make sure that the phone is unlocked and compatible with Fizz's network.
- Stay Updated with Fizz: Keep an eye on updates from Fizz. They might announce changes to their service offerings, including phone sales, as they move out of the beta phase.
- Weighing Your Options: If Fizz's current limitations are a significant inconvenience, exploring other service providers could be worthwhile, especially if you need a more comprehensive range of services immediately.
- Contact Fizz Again: It’s also a good idea to stay in touch with Fizz customer service for updates. They can provide the most current information regarding service expansions and phone availability.
Remember, during any beta phase of a service, there can be unexpected limitations and changes. Keeping flexible and informed can help you navigate these challenges more effectively.

If you need to contact Fizz customer service, they will create a ticket if the situation warrants it.
We cannot contact directly to technical support.
The idea of this page https://fizz.ca/en/contact-us is to explain how you can access the chat bubble. If you do a search in the Solution Hub related to your issue and access the help page the chat bubble will appear at the right corner.
- You're logged into your Fizz account.
- You're active on a help page such as https://fizz.ca/en/faq/im-unable-log-my-fizz-account-what-do-i-do
- Simply click on the chat bubble that appears at the bottom on the right.
- You have disabled any ad blockers in your browser.
If the chat bubble does not appear, this means that the number of sessions waiting for our answers surpasses our processing capacity. If that happens, send us a private message via Facebook Messenger or Twitter.

Hello fizzyYEG,
First of all, thank you a lot for considering joining Fizz in the Beta phase!
To answer your question, currently we don’t have an estimation to when phones delivery will be available in Edmonton and you have my apologies for this. However I am counting on your understanding that it is better to inform you about this instead of trying to come with an estimation which may or not be correct. It depends on many factors, we are trying to constantly improve and extend our services.
This being said, If you need a new phone in the near future, my advise would be to check the market during December and I am sure you can find a good deal. Any phone will work on our SIM, we do not lock our phones or our networks for phones purchased from other places than Fizz.
Just make sure your next phone is VoLTE certified on the Fizz site, in this way all the services will work properly. You can find the phone’s list in this FAQ:

I am counting on your understanding and I wish you a great day,
