My cell phone network showing Fizz Ext and Edge data

hi
I purchased a fizz sim card and got a number which was later deactivated as i went abroad for three months. upon return, I activated a new number of same plan on my sim.
Now my phone shows Fizz Ext (some partner network, I suppose) and it giving me edge data connectivity instead of 4G or LTE. I inserted sim in another phone and still the problem persisted. I went to different areas in Montreal like Saint-Laurent, Dorval, Laval and DDO but still the problem remained the same. so its not the problem with phone and location.
I had three chats with fizz customer services and every time they opened a ticket and closed it. Now presently, the third one is in progress. I think fizz cant help me. I am not sure if buying a new sim and transfering my plan to that sim will work or not.
If anybody experienced the same problem and can help me in this.

Did you check if you have the network operator in automatic?
Android: Settings → Connections → Mobile networks → Network operators → Search networks → Automatic/Fizz
iPhone: Settings → Operators → Automatic/Fizz
