New Volte while travelling

Ok so I'm currently travelling and won't be back for a few months.

Up until now I've been using my fizz sim when needed to do some online banking and pay some bills. I get bank verification codes to my number.

Now fizz says I need to get a new sim to accommodate volte. Ok, first problem.

I try to have them send my new sim to my parents' place so at least I get it. But they say they that address is out of the subscription area. Problem #2.

To top it off, the new chip will only work on certain phones? Another big problem.

So what am I supposed to do? I am travelling abroad, won't be able to do banking or get into anything my number is connected to (CRA?). I mean, this is a pretty significant impact with serious consequences.

Can anyone suggest a competitor where I can have a relative buy a chip and transfer my number?

Really serious consequences here.

    Hi

If you don't travel to USA you can wait, at this point in time I believe that only the USA switch off the 3G

You can change your bank's phone number (Call your bank). Get the code from someone you trust. Access your bank via the website (not the app).

I know it's acrobatic but it could help you, right?
