Why won't my texts send to a specific number?

I haven't been able to text my Dad for three days now. My texts got through to him fine as recently as a week ago. My texts send fine to my other contacts, I am able to receive his texts, and my calls get through to him. I am using a Google Pixel 4a that is updated, he uses an iPhone 7. I am not blocked in his contacts, and he is not blocked in mine. I tried deleting his contact and re-adding it. I tried restarting my phone and turning it off for a long period then turning it back on, he has tried all the same. He called his service provider (Bell) and they said they couldn't see anything problematic on their side.

    • If the green bubble does not appear make sure your ad blocker is disabled, otherwise try with another browser.

    I have verified your account and I do not see anything that would prevent you from sending messages.

    I would recommend that you try to send a text to him directly to the number, not from the contact list.

    Also, if you can swap phones with him and try to send a text, that would be a great step towards finding a solution as soon as possible.
