Everytime I make a long distance call in Quebec, for exemple I leave in Waterloo and call Châteauguay, the message Fizz says I am doing a long distance call and therefore a fee will be add to my invoice.

How can this be?

Why?

I should not be charge nor get these messages!!!

    Hi @Helene L. #8733

You need to add 1 or +1 to your number, I personally have all my number with +1 it is easier for me when I travel aboard.

No, you will not get charged

    Hello @Helene L. #8733,

Thank you for describing your situation to us.

As Jess said above, you should consider including either a "1" or "+1" before your phone number.

Fizz does not charge you automatically and the message you receive is just for your information, however, the only way we could charge you is if you had a balance in your wallet, and that only if you would make international calls or use your services in roaming. We don't charge our clients without their consent.

I hope you have a pleasant day!

    -Mihai
