Indeed. The phone is just not ringing.
Additionally it's not possible to send any SMS/MMS as well. Incoming SMS are OK, MMS are not.

I don't know if they made some mods to accommodate Apple, but knowing Fizz I don't think so :D
I am on Android, so it's definitely not related to Apple upgrades.
I understood it differently: if iOS 17 required some network modifications, and Fizz implemented them, it caused problems for the entire network.
Same thing here. Android phone. Data is working but not mobile - so no phone calls or SMS/MMS.

not here, plus when we try to make a call, it says "this service is not available for fizz customers"

First time I've had a problem with fizz. Calls/mms not working here either
to make matters worse their system services status is claiming everything is operational

Fizz customer service, thru Messenger, just informed me that it's fixed and working on my end. Their response:
Thank you for contacting our online service.
Fizz is aware that some of its members cannot make or receive calls or send or receive text messages. The issue has been identified and a dedicated team is currently working to address it. Fizz apologizes for the inconvenience this may be causing you.
Please restart your phone and test the line as our technical team made some changes and the situation should be solved already.
Waiting on your response.

@Whizz even if the issue was fixed this is unacceptable to have the essential service down for more than 3 hours. Please share an official statement what caused the outage and what will you do to prevent this happening in future.
