phone delivery; name on the package & signature

Hi

I understand that the person receiving the new phone package needs to provide a photo ID with address when signing for the phone package.

If you are expecting delivery of a phone:

  • The delivery will be made to the address associated with the credit card used for its purchase.
  • The package will be addressed to the credit card holder who will be required to present a valid photo ID and sign for the delivery.

The account is under my name but it's actually for my senior mother's phone usage. For her monthly payment, it's charged on my credit card. However for the phone delivery, I will be at work and therefore won't be there to receive the new phone. Can I put my mother's name and credit card information to pay for the new phone and delivery? This way she will have her ID and it'll match the shipping address of the package.

    Hello lugubres,
    The ID that you have to show to the delivery guy is the one that has the name of the Fizz member account, not the name associated with the credit card holder.
    You can present your own ID if the phone is purchased through a Fizz member account that has your name registered.
