    Hi @Roxlac

    What phone are you using?

Do you have a data plan? How many GB do you have as an option in your plan?

You can try to reboot the phone, or even better put in air plane mode for 30 seconds?

Did you try the SIM in a different phone?

If you have Fizz Ext in your display, you need to enable the data roaming

    Hi @Roxlac

    1. Install the latest software update.

    • Connect to a Wi-Fi network
    • Download the latest iOS software update

    2. Update the carrier settings.

    • Once the software update is done, your iPhone will offer a carrier settings update. Make sure you accept it.

    Check the apple guide https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT201270

In your signal do you have Fizz or Fizz Ext?

For Fizz Ext you need to enable the data roaming

    Restart your phone
    1. Reboot (power cycle) your phone by holding down the phone’s start button for 10 seconds.
    2. Following your reboot, your applications will load. Your phone will then re-authenticate to the Fizz mobile network and potentially recover its authorization to access the network.

Does the phone choose the right network?

IMPORTANT: Before beginning this process, make sure the SIM card is inserted in your phone. Otherwise, the Mobile networks menu will not be visible.

The steps for enabling your phone to automatically choose a network vary depending on the type of phone. Here are two examples:

Android: Settings → Connections → Mobile networks → Network operators → Search networks → Automatic/Fizz

    iPhone: Settings → Operators → Automatic/Fizz

@Jess_i88b6 I see the Fizz on the left top corner of my phone when I reboot it, but it disappears directly after. The little window with Carrier settings updates never appears.

    Hello Roxlac,
I am sorry for the situation encountered,
I have verified your account and I can see that you do have data left in your plan at this time.
You have Canada wide coverage and you should be able to use your data.
On August 8th,  you were able to use 102mb.
If you are in the green area on this map: https://fizz.ca/en/coverage
You should be connected to FIZZ network. If you are outside this area, I kindly advise you to activate your roaming data and mobile data and connect to a FIZZ-EXT network.
To do so, follow these steps: Open Settings. Tap Cellular, or Cellular Data, or Mobile Data. Then tap Cellular Data Options and turn on Data Roaming.
To select the network, follow these steps: Settings> Network Selection Disable automatic> then manually search for the network.
Here you can find some troubleshooting steps as well: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-are-fizz-network-settings-apn

If none of these work, please contact us in private in order to investigate further.
To reach us via chat> go to the above FAQ> click on the green bubble and then on chat.

    Thank you for your understanding!
    Have a good day!
